Preparing the future of governance
We believe that the future of the economic and social transformation of the African continent lies at the local level. Local elected representatives and parliamentarians play a central role in the vertical balance of power. They must also ensure the effectiveness of development measures taken by central decision-makers by implementing local public policies.
Our “Local Leaders for Change” Program equips and connects local leaders including mayors, African parliaments under the age of 40, boost decentralised cooperation and promotes a community-centred development model.
